The Role • Lead system administration for both Linux and Windows environments within secure, mission-critical settings. • Architect, manage, and maintain complex server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure (VMware, KVM). • Ensure OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching comply with stringent DoD STIGs and agency policies. • Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis for complex issues, and implement efficient resolutions. • Oversee and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, etc.). • Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, and software development teams to ensure system compliance and performance. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience, or equivalent experience. • Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph. • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP). • Proven experience with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS) and Windows Server administration. • Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and automation/scripting tools (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python). • Familiarity with STIG compliance, system hardening, and RMF processes.
