Network Administrator | Odenton, MD, United States | On-site | $116,350.00 - $210,325.00

The Role

  • Design, document, test, deploy, and maintain IP network solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in IP network technologies, ensuring WAN and LAN infrastructure performance, security, and scalability.
  • Provide technical assistance, administer configurations, and upgrade software for network components.
  • Develop and update network documentation, ensuring compliance with security hardening standards (STIGs).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across various network components.
  • Evaluate system network requirements and provide technical recommendations.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 10+ years (specific experience may substitute for degree).
  • Proficiency in remotely configuring networking or transport devices.
  • Ability to map IP addresses and subnets, and to establish management connections on transport devices.
  • Experience interpreting network topology diagrams and proposed configuration changes.
  • Knowledge of configuring and deploying HAIPE/NSA Type 1 Encryption devices and associated element managers.
  • Security+ certification and an active TS/SCI clearance.
