Systems Engineer | El Cajon, CA, United States | Hybrid | $107,900.00 - $195,050.00

The Role

  • Serve as a technical leader, overseeing system architecture, analysis, integration, and verification for undersea vehicles and sensor systems.
  • Develop and maintain system-level architectures, interfaces, and design artifacts throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead and support the development of technical documentation packages, authority to operate (ATO) packages, and system safety analyses.
  • Create system-level test strategies and plans, coordinating verification and validation activities.
  • Perform and review reliability and safety analyses, such as FMEA and FMECA, and ensure mitigation and documentation.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to support requirements, architecture, and traceability.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Ocean), Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
  • 8 years of experience with subsea maritime systems or other integrated electro-mechanical systems.
  • 8+ years of experience leading integrated teams.
  • Exposure to DoD technical program execution.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
