Systems Engineer | San Diego, CA | Hybrid | $107,900.00 - $195,050.00

We're hiring for a leading technology company that delivers innovative solutions for U.S. maritime missions. This organization is known for its technical expertise and commitment to national security. They are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join their world-class team, operating at the forefront of subsea technology and autonomy.

The Role

  • Serve as a technical leader in system architecture, analysis, integration, and verification for underwater vehicles and unattended sensor systems.
  • Develop and maintain system-level architectures, interfaces, and design artifacts across the program lifecycle.
  • Lead and support TEMPALT development, ATO packages, and system safety analyses.
  • Develop system-level test strategies, plans, and coordinate verification and validation activities.
  • Provide oversight for Technical Data Packages, ensuring technical integrity and compliance.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering practices using Cameo for requirements, architecture, and traceability.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
  • 8+ years of experience with subsea maritime systems or other integrated electro-mechanical systems.
  • 8+ years of experience leading integrated teams.
  • Exposure to DoD technical program execution.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
