Role: Manufacturing Equipment Engineer
Location: Georgetown KY
About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Equipment Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.
What you'll be doing…
- Support evaluation of equipment project proposals, including process and equipment capability assessments.
- Develop strategies and lead implementation for North American equipment deployment and standardization projects.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate project status and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and develop standards for new technologies.
- Lead specification development processes and ensure compliance with cross-regional standards.
- Perform quality checks and participate in on-site inspections.
The right person has…
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering or technical role.
- Experience with CAD or similar modeling software.
- Experience creating technical documentation for equipment procurement.
- Capability to identify project constraints and develop effective countermeasures.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CAD/AutoCAD skills are a plus.
- Strong manufacturing experience with practical knowledge of robotics and maintenance.
- SEIBI experience preferred.
- PLC experience and knowledge - Nice to have.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish/Japanese - Nice to have.
What you bring:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience in a Toyota engineering or technical role
- Experience with CAD or similar modeling software
- Experience with spec development
- Experience creating A3 and/or Ringi documents for equipment procurement
- Ability to identify project constraints and develop effective countermeasures
- 2+ years of project management experience
- PLC experience and knowledge – Nice to have
What you may bring
- Bilingual: English/Spanish/Japanese – Nice to have
- Conveyor experience and knowledge
- MSRC and or Machine Risk Analysis Experience
- Experience with new model introduction processes
- Experience with paint shop booths, ovens, abatement systems, air houses, and enclosures
- Experience in equipment maintenance
- Experience in automation and/or robot programming
- Experience with vision system evaluation, programming, and use cases
