Solution Architect - Palantir Foundry Platform

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, governance,modernization, and delivery of enterprise solutions built on the Palantir Foundry

platform. The role is responsible for defining platform architecture, establishing governance standards, supporting application modernization initiatives, and ensuring

successful delivery of business-critical solutions.The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Palantir Foundry with architecture leadership, stakeholder management, and software delivery experience.This individual will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Developers, Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to drive scalable, secure, and maintainable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Define target-state architecture and platform design standards.

Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction for solution delivery.

Design scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise applications and data

products.

Establish best practices for platform structure, modularization, reuse, and

dependency management.

Drive technical decision-making across development teams.

Palantir Foundry Platform Leadership

Architect and govern solutions built on Palantir Foundry.

Design and optimize Foundry application structures, pipelines, ontologies, and

operational workflows.

Lead Foundry application modernization, restructuring, and migration initiatives.

Establish standards for package design, dependency management, branching,

release management, and deployment processes.

Guide teams in leveraging platform capabilities effectively while maintaining

governance and operational controls.

Governance & Compliance

Define and enforce platform governance standards.

Establish controls for data security, access management, auditability, monitoring,

and compliance.

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and SDLC standards.

Conduct architecture and governance assessments and drive remediation

activities.

Delivery & Release Management

Provide oversight of end-to-end solution delivery.

Support release planning and deployment governance.

Review solution readiness, deployment risks, rollback strategies, and operational

impacts.

Drive adoption of repeatable deployment and change management processes.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with business and technology leaders to translate requirements into

scalable solutions.

Communicate architecture decisions, risks, assumptions, and recommendations

to stakeholders.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, QA,

operations, and vendor teams.

Operational Excellence

Improve platform reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness.

Support incident analysis and root cause investigations.

Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Promote engineering best practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or

related field.

8+ years of software engineering, data platform, or solution architecture

experience.

3+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.

Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and

data solutions.

Experience with architecture governance, platform governance, and SDLC

processes.

Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and enterprise integration

patterns.

Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and large-scale initiatives.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with Azure DevOps, Git-based source control, and release

governance.

Experience with OSDK, custom widgets, TypeScript, Python, and data

engineering frameworks.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools within Palantir Foundry.

Experience in financial services, tax, professional services, or highly regulated

industries.
