Business Analyst with Law Firm Exp

Position: IT Business Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 5 Months (Possible Extension)

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support enterprise technology projects, primarily large-scale data warehouse implementations. The role focuses on requirements gathering, process mapping, data governance, UAT, and vendor coordination. Candidates must have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take ownership of project activities.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of IT Business Analyst experience.
• Enterprise data warehousing implementation experience.
• Entegrata or similar data management tools.
• Requirements gathering, process mapping, and optimization.
• Data flow mapping, data governance, and reporting.
• UAT, testing, and SDLC knowledge.
• Vendor coordination and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of structured project management.
• Experience in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, etc.).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred: Law firm experience and Prosci CMP or similar certification.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Map data flows and improve business processes.
• Support enterprise data warehouse implementations.
• Coordinate vendors, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Manage UAT activities and support change management.
• Assist with project planning, reporting, and delivery.
