Technical Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst to support an eCommerce Search team. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, product management, and search engineering teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical and functional requirements.

The candidate will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting product backlog management, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release activities.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.

Maintain, prioritize, and manage product backlog items.

Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, and release activities.

Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Ensure requirements traceability throughout implementation and testing.

Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Support, eCommerce, and technical teams.

Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and business impacts to relevant stakeholders.

Facilitate collaboration between business teams and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.

Support continuous improvement of eCommerce search functionality and business processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Systems Analyst.

Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.

Experience with product backlog management and prioritization.

Familiarity with UAT, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting eCommerce platforms or digital products.

Experience working with eCommerce Search teams or search engineering teams.

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Strong stakeholder management and requirements traceability skills.
