SQL BI Developer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL BI Developer to join a Private Markets Investment Technology team. This role focuses on supporting and enhancing proprietary in-house and third-party applications and data processes. The developer will work with business partners throughout the development lifecycle, provide solutions to the business, and contribute to an AI enablement team focused on standardizing AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance proprietary in-house and third-party applications and data processes.
• Collaborate with business partners from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
• Work with a range of Microsoft technologies, focusing on complex SQL queries and procedures.
• Contribute to data extract automation, reporting structure enhancements, and application enhancements.
• Engage with business partners to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, work on enhancement tickets, evaluate reports, and provide production support.
• Provide onsite support to business partners on a rotational basis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with complex SQL queries and procedures.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Databricks is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Platforms such as Power Automate.
• Knowledge of .NET, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience in the Private Assets domain or a background in financial services.
