Job Description: Senior Solutions Architect - Azure, Angular, .NET, Databricks & GenAI

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Solutions Architect with strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications across front-end development, back-end services, data platforms, APIs, and Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Angular, .NET/C#, Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure cloud architecture, along with experience integrating Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Databricks Genie or similar conversational AI tools.

This role requires a combination of solution architecture, hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver secure, scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures spanning front-end applications, back-end services, APIs, data platforms, and Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, reference implementations, and production-ready code across application, data, and AI layers.

• Design and implement full-stack applications using Angular, .NET/C#, REST APIs, and cloud-native Azure services.

• Lead Databricks data engineering and analytics architecture, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, lakehouse design, data pipelines, and application-service integration.

• Design and implement AI-enabled solutions using RAG architectures, LLM integrations, Databricks Genie, conversational interfaces, and enterprise data retrieval.

• Define API standards, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and integration patterns to support scalable enterprise applications.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, monitoring, logging, and observability.

• Ensure solution performance, scalability, availability, cost optimization, and maintainability.

• Establish architecture and security standards aligned with enterprise policies, governance requirements, HIPAA, SOC 2, and CISO directives.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, CloudOps, Security, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures.

• Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and implementation discussions.

• Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and communicate architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in solution architecture, technical architecture, or senior design roles.

• Strong hands-on experience designing enterprise cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.

• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular.

• Strong back-end development experience using .NET and C#.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, lakehouse architecture, and data pipeline development.

• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of Generative AI solution architecture, including RAG, LLM integration, and conversational AI applications.

• Experience with Databricks Genie or similar conversational analytics and natural-language data access tools.

• Experience implementing CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and observability.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application security, data governance, scalability, performance optimization, and cloud cost management.

• Excellent communication, technical leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise applications, APIs, and governed data platforms.

• Familiarity with vector search, embeddings, enterprise retrieval systems, and RAG optimization.

• Experience with Azure cloud-native services, application modernization, and distributed application deployment.

• Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, and enterprise security governance.

• Experience leading architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and driving adoption of modern engineering practices.
