Engagement Overview
The Senior IT Project Manager (Contract) is responsible for leading the implementation of SaaS technology solutions that require new or custom integrations. This role manages delivery across business, technology, and vendor teams, with a strong focus on clear planning, high-quality project artifacts, proactive issue management, and consistent communication with leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
SaaS Implementation and Integration Delivery
Lead SaaS solution implementations that require new or custom integrations across internal platforms, third-party systems, and vendor services.
Build and manage detailed project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, owners, and decision points.
Coordinate technical, business, vendor, and security activities so delivery remains aligned and risks are addressed early.
Project Artifact Quality and Attention to Detail
Create and maintain accurate project artifacts, including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, decision logs, meeting notes, timelines, dependency trackers, and executive updates.
Ensure all project documentation is complete, consistent, current, and ready for leadership review.
Validate details before publishing or presenting project materials to reduce ambiguity, rework, and missed commitments.
Meeting Facilitation and Stakeholder Alignment
Plan and facilitate effective meetings with technology leaders, business leaders, product owners, vendors, and delivery teams.
Set clear agendas, guide discussion toward outcomes, capture decisions and action items, and confirm owners and due dates.
Use meetings to remove blockers, align priorities, confirm readiness, and support timely decisions.
Communication and Status Reporting
Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats with business, technology, vendor, and executive audiences.
Provide concise status updates that make progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and next steps easy to understand.
Adjust communication style based on the audience while keeping messages factual, direct, and action-oriented.
Parallel Workstream Management
Manage multiple parallel workstreams in a fast-paced technology environment without losing visibility to details, risks, or dependencies.
Prioritize work based on business impact, delivery dates, risk level, and leadership needs.
Keep teams focused on the most important outcomes while adapting to changing priorities and new information.
Time Management and Prioritization
Manage competing deadlines, meeting cadences, reporting needs, and delivery activities with strong organization and follow-through.
Identify what requires immediate attention, what can be delegated, and what needs escalation.
Maintain momentum across workstreams while ensuring commitments, decisions, and follow-ups are tracked to closure.
Scope and Complexity
- SaaS technology implementations requiring new or custom integrations
- Coordination across business, technology, security, data, vendor, and support teams
- Multiple third-party vendors and internal technology teams
- High visibility initiatives requiring strong planning, disciplined execution, and clear communication
Required Experience
- 8+ years leading technology projects, including SaaS implementations with new or custom integrations
- Proven experience managing multiple parallel workstreams across business, technology, vendor, and support teams
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, complete, and leadership-ready project artifacts
- Excellent time management, prioritization, organization, and follow-through skills
- Expert meeting facilitation skills with both technology and business leaders
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading complex SaaS implementations in the Technology domain
- Experience managing integration-heavy initiatives with internal and external technology teams
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
