Project Leader Fire Protection | Meerbusch, Germany | Hybrid

This employer is a well-established, medium-sized engineering firm specializing in fire protection and fire suppression system planning. With a nationwide presence of 14 locations and a team of 180 dedicated professionals, they have been at the forefront of innovative engineering services for over three decades, focusing on preventive fire protection and technical building equipment for projects both domestically and internationally. They pride themselves on advising and supporting a diverse range of clients, from private and public developers to investors, on all aspects of fire safety.

The Role

  • Developing fire protection concepts and technical fire safety statements for clients
  • Conducting assessments of existing building conditions across various building types
  • Consulting and coordinating with clients, architects, specialist planners, and authorities
  • Providing fire protection advice and site supervision during construction phases
  • Delivering fire protection training and instruction to company personnel
  • Utilizing software for fire and evacuation simulations in buildings

What You'll Need

  • A completed degree in Fire Protection, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field
  • Alternatively, relevant practical experience in fire protection or further qualifications as a specialist planner or expert for fire protection are beneficial
  • Knowledge of fire protection guidelines and fire/evacuation simulations is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in the fire service is a plus
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • A structured, independent work style, reliability, precision, and strong communication skills in German
