About the Team

The Real Estate Capital (REC) Originations Technology team delivers and supports technology solutions that enable KeyBank's Commercial Real Estate lending business. The team partners with Originations, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Credit Administration, and Technology to deliver capabilities that support the full CRE loan lifecycle. Key platforms include Moody's CreditLens and related REC applications supporting deal origination, credit analysis, approval workflows, regulatory compliance, data integration, and portfolio reporting.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise business analysis, requirements management, and CRE lending platforms and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions that align with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business and technology stakeholders.


• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for complex initiatives.


• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, business rules, and technical requirements.


• Assess impacts across applications, integrations, and downstream consumers to ensure alignment with roadmaps.


• Document current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, controls, and automation.


• Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and SMEs to design effective solutions and optimized user experiences.


• Support delivery for Moody's CreditLens and REC applications across origination, underwriting, approval, covenant, document, and portfolio workflows.


• Develop data mapping and source-to-target requirements for integrations with internal and third-party platforms.


• Partner with business teams to prioritize features that improve the end-to-end lending experience.


• Define and support testing strategies, coordinate UAT, validate business and regulatory requirements, and support release readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.


• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting enterprise technology solutions.


• Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and change management.


• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC practices, including user stories and backlog management.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with critical-thinking ability.


• Proficiency creating process models, workflow diagrams, use cases, and BRDs.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive consensus.

Preferred Skills:

• Commercial lending or Commercial Real Estate lending experience.


• Experience with Moody's CreditLens or comparable commercial credit platforms.


• Knowledge of CRE origination, underwriting, approval, and portfolio management processes.


• Experience with data mapping, system integrations, and enterprise data platforms.


• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and process modeling tools.


• Understanding of banking regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.


• Experience with cloud-based and SaaS lending platforms.
