Job Title: Senior US Technical Recruiter & Business Development Specialist — Semiconductor, Hardware & Networking

Work Location: Remote
Working Hours: US business hours

About the Role

D Best Workz is seeking an experienced recruiter who can source specialized engineering talent for US client requirements and help grow our staffing business. This is a hands-on role combining candidate sourcing, recruitment delivery, client relationship management, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities

Source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, Dice, referrals, professional communities, and targeted outreach.

Recruit for semiconductor and hardware roles, including ASIC/SoC verification, physical design, STA, CAD flow development, FPGA development, silicon validation, PCB layout, SI/PI, and embedded firmware.

Support networking and software requirements involving SONiC, L2/L3 protocols, Python automation, cloud platforms, and AI-native engineering.

Screen candidates for relevant project experience, technical skills, work authorization, location, onsite availability, compensation expectations, and start dates.

Obtain right-to-represent confirmation and prepare accurate candidate submissions with resumes, contact information, rates, and availability.

Coordinate interviews, follow up on feedback, negotiate rates within approved margins, and support onboarding.

Maintain candidate pipelines, submission records, and client/vendor follow-ups in the ATS or CRM.

Identify and develop relationships with prospective clients, implementation partners, staffing firms, and hiring managers.

Generate qualified business opportunities, secure requirement discussions, and support vendor empanelment and account growth.

Build a reliable network of direct candidates and specialist sourcing partners.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of US technical staffing experience, with demonstrated recruitment delivery.

Proven experience sourcing semiconductor, VLSI, hardware, embedded systems, or networking engineers.

Ability to distinguish hands-on engineering experience from keyword matches on a resume.

Familiarity with technologies such as SystemVerilog/UVM, Cadence Allegro, Innovus, Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, FPGA/VHDL, PCIe, OpenBMC, and SONiC.

Understanding of US staffing models, including C2C, W2, contract-to-hire, and referral arrangements.

Strong Boolean search, candidate screening, rate negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication, consistent follow-through, and availability during US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting engineering requirements for major technology companies or their service partners.

An established network of semiconductor and hardware candidates in the US.

Experience developing staffing accounts, securing new requirements, or supporting vendor onboarding.

Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors agency portals, iTAP, or similar submission systems.

Success Measures

Performance will be measured through qualified submissions, interview conversion, placements, submission accuracy, turnaround time, profitable delivery, and new client opportunities.
