Job Description

Job Description:
Title - Vice President Core Account Management Product
Location - New York, New York United States - Onsite
Position overview:
  • The Small Business Card organization is seeking a product leader to own strategy through delivery for foundational account-management experiences.
  • The role will define the long-term vision across entitlements, spend controls, profile linking, and related capabilities, then convert that vision into executable work with engineering teams.
  • Because these experiences depend on shared systems and serve customers across businesses, the leader will coordinate closely with Business Banking and Consumer Card.
  • Success requires a traditional product manager or product owner who is equally comfortable shaping target-state customer experiences and driving detailed execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core Small Business Card account-management capabilities.
  • Define target-state experiences across entitlements, spend controls, profile linking, and other foundational capabilities.
  • Translate customer needs and long-term product vision into prioritized requirements, roadmaps, user stories, and delivery plans.
  • Partner directly with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate options, manage dependencies, resolve tradeoffs, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Coordinate with Business Banking to identify shared opportunities, align roadmaps, and address cross-business dependencies.
  • Partner with Consumer Card where systems, platforms, servicing models, or customer experiences overlap.
  • Use customer insight, data, research, and business objectives to guide decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Create alignment among product, design, technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, and control stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated product management or product ownership experience spanning strategy, roadmap development, requirements, delivery, and launch.
  • Experience designing or improving complex customer-facing digital experiences and connecting product decisions to customer impact.
  • Proven ability to establish a long-term product vision and deliver it in close partnership with engineering teams.
  • Experience managing shared capabilities, platform dependencies, or products that cross organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to move between strategic decisions and detailed execution without losing accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to align business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with entitlements, authorization, spend controls, identity or profile management, account hierarchies, or similar foundational capabilities.
  • Experience in small-business financial services, commercial cards, digital banking, fintech, or payments.
  • Experience building products or platforms comparable to those offered by Intuit, Ramp, Brex, Capital One, Bank of America, or MX.
Success in the first six months:
  • Establish a unified target-state vision for core account-management experiences and gain alignment across Small Business Card, Business Banking, and Consumer Card.
  • Harmonize overlapping roadmaps and clarify ownership, dependencies, priorities, and decision points.
  • Translate the target state into detailed, prioritized requirements and an executable delivery plan.
  • Advance the highest-priority capabilities into active delivery with clear customer and business measures of success.
Pay Range/Salary: $210K + Bonus
