Job Description

Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid – 1 Day/Week Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using the Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core.
Build and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework.
Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and complex queries.
Perform data migration validation and SQL-based testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Create technical documentation and support system deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of experience in .NET application development.
Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
Hands-on experience with Entity Framework.
Extensive experience with SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with Azure SQL Database.
Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, source control, and work item management.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience validating data migrations and performing SQL-based data testing.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Experience using Git or Azure Repos for version control.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
