As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing critical mobile and web applications that support UnitingCare's services and strategic digital initiatives. Working within our Digital & Technology team, you'll contribute to the delivery of innovative, secure and scalable technology solutions while collaborating with a range of technical and business stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant digital project supporting BlueCare, helping deliver contemporary applications that improve outcomes for our people, customers and communities. You'll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, building solutions that have real impact across one of Australia's leading care organisation Please note, this position is a two-Year Fixed Term Contract based at 192 Ann Street, Brisbane, with hybrid work arrangements available.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:- Develop, maintain and enhance mobile and web applications across front-end and back-end environments.
- Design and build scalable solutions using React Native and ExpressJS.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into practical digital solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs and production incidents to ensure system stability and performance.
- Support API integrations, database management and cloud-hosted applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements and platform upgrades.
- Participate in testing, deployment and release activities across multiple digital platforms.
- Support Azure DevOps pipelines and modern software development practices.
- Ensure solutions meet security, quality and performance standards while adhering to development best practices.
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for innovation, collaboration and delivering high-quality digital solutions.
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer within a modern software development environment.
- Strong experience developing applications using React Native.
- Experience across both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience developing applications for web, Android and iOS platforms.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and ExpressJS.
- Experience working with APIs, databases and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to satisfy the relevant pre-employment probity checks, including a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, Right to Work in Australia verification and qualification check where applicable.
- Highly regarded: 42-3+ years' commercial React Native development experience.
- Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps environments.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices and modern software engineering methodologies.
- Experience supporting mobile application deployments across Apple App Store and Google Play platforms.
- Experience working within large, complex or enterprise organisations.
- Previous experience delivering customer-facing digital products and applications.
