DevSecOps Engineer

Position Summary
The DevSecOps Engineer builds and operates secure delivery pipelines for a cloud native platform using AWS tooling. The role focuses on implementing CI and CD, infrastructure as code, security automation, and shift left practices. The DevSecOps Engineer also embeds AI assisted tooling across scanning, testing, and pipeline authoring to improve delivery speed, consistency, and security posture.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI and CD pipelines using AWS native tooling such as CodePipeline and CodeBuild

• Implement infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation

• Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and policy as code into delivery pipelines

• Automate compliance evidence for FedRAMP and NIST control requirements

• Support environment provisioning and deployment automation including blue green and canary strategies

• Embed AI assisted tooling for scanning, testing, and pipeline authoring

• Monitor pipeline health and improve delivery metrics

Minimum Experience

• Three plus years of DevOps or DevSecOps engineering experience

• Hands on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code using CDK or CloudFormation

• Experience with CI and CD tooling and security automation

• Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar

• Experience collaborating with teams and adapting to shifting priorities
