Google Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Google Cloud Platform Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, particularly Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and cloud-native integrations. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration with databases like MongoDB and caching systems like Redis.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.

Integrate cloud-native applications with MongoDB and Redis Cache for optimized performance.

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues across Google Cloud Platform environments.

Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure.

Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources.

Maintain documentation and best practices for cloud architecture and deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent certification.

Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.

Exposure to microservices architecture and service mesh (e.g., Istio).
