Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Aerospace manufacturing experience and hands-on expertise in 5-Axis CNC programming. The ideal candidate should have experience developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs for complex aerospace components while maintaining high standards of quality, precision, and safety.

Must-Have Skills

• Aerospace industry/manufacturing experience – Mandatory

• 5-Axis CNC programming – Mandatory

• 3–25 years of relevant CNC programming/manufacturing experience

• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and machining complex components

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications

• Experience with CNC tool selection, feeds & speeds, tooling, and cutting strategies

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs for quality, cycle time, and productivity

• Knowledge of machining setups, fixtures, workholding, and tool offsets

• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision-machined aerospace components

• Familiarity with CNC machine controls and shop-floor manufacturing processes

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize 5-Axis CNC programs for aerospace components.

• Review engineering drawings, models, specifications, and GD&T requirements.

• Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.

• Support CNC machine setup, prove-out, first-piece inspection, and production runs.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and make program modifications as required.

• Optimize programs to improve cycle time, tool life, and part quality.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and production teams.

• Ensure programs and machining processes comply with aerospace quality and safety requirements.

• Maintain accurate documentation for CNC programs, revisions, tooling, and machining processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience machining complex aerospace components.

• Experience with high-precision CNC machining.

• Familiarity with CAM programming software such as NX CAM, Mastercam, CATIA, or equivalent.

• Experience with aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, Inconel, or other difficult-to-machine alloys.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a production/manufacturing environment.
