Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Data Analyst with experience working with banking or financial services clients. The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing data, preparing reports, and working with business and technical teams to support banking applications and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst
• Banking or Financial Services client experience
• Strong experience with SQL and data analysis
• Good knowledge of Excel and reporting
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau is preferred
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
• Experience creating BRD/FRD, user stories, and process documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of banking processes such as payments, transactions, deposits, loans, cards, or customer data is a plus

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders.
• Analyze banking and financial data using SQL and Excel.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and business insights.
• Validate and reconcile data between different systems.
• Work with development and data teams to clarify requirements.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support UAT testing and defect resolution.
• Identify data issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project meetings.
• Communicate findings and project updates to business stakeholders.

Preferred Banking Experience

Candidates with experience working for banks, financial institutions, credit card companies, payment companies, or other financial services organizations are preferred.
