Data Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI-Driven Analytics Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role focuses on leveraging AI-driven analytics and prompt engineering to accelerate data exploration, automate insight generation, and support strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and create compelling data visualizations using tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, and generative AI platforms such as Copilot.
Responsibilities:

• Design, test, and optimize AI prompts in Copilot to accelerate data exploration and root cause analysis
• Automate insight generation from structured and unstructured data
• Develop reusable prompt frameworks and playbooks for common business use cases
• Partner with engineering teams to embed AI-driven analysis into workflows (AIOps, dashboards, reporting)
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, bias, and business relevance
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Translate data findings into clear business narratives and recommendations
• Apply advanced techniques like clustering, classification, and anomaly detection to uncover hidden patterns
• Build and maintain predictive models leveraging machine learning and AI
• Build dashboards and visualizations in Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights
• Use AI tools to generate automated summaries and trend explanations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and analytics requirements
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency, and support governance and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytical skills
• 7+ years of experience in an application production support role
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow and ITSM data models
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, and Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLM tools (Copilot, GPT, etc.)
• Experience with prompt engineering techniques (prompt chaining, context setting, evaluation)
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations
• High attention to detail and governance discipline

Desired skills:

• Experience in enterprise data environments (banking, risk, ERP, or production support systems)
• Exposure to AIOps platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, observability tools)
• Experience building AI-driven analytics solutions or automation frameworks

Pay range: $40.17 - $48.17 per hour
