Job Description:
An Oracle Retail (Retek) Functional consultant is a functional specialist who works with Oracle Retail applications, originally developed by Retek, to support retail business processes such as merchandising, inventory, pricing, purchasing, and sales.
• Incident, problem, change, and release management; business process optimization; requirements analysis; functional design; testing coordination; stakeholder engagement; and support of Oracle Retail modules such as Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS), Pricing Cloud Service (PCS), Invoice Matching Cloud Service (IMCS), Event Planner and related integrations.
• The role partners with business and technology teams to drive operational stability, automation, performance improvements, value-add enhancements, and long-term transformation initiatives.
• The role would also entail supporting Retail implementations when Deloitte is engaged in implementations and may become the priority over support function.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
