Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Hands-on Java Architect / Technical Leader with strong experience designing secure, scalable, highly available enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical leader who can provide architectural direction while remaining hands-on with design, development, code reviews, security, and technical problem-solving.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of Architecture / Technical Leadership experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
• Expert knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
• Strong experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and SaaS applications
• Strong Application Security / AppSec experience
• Knowledge of OWASP, Secure SDLC, Threat Modeling, and Secure Coding
• Experience conducting Architecture, Design, and Code Reviews
• Strong SQL/database knowledge; Oracle preferred
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise applications
• Excellent communication, mentoring, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design for complex enterprise applications
• Provide technical direction to senior developers and engineering teams
• Design secure, scalable, and highly available solutions
• Conduct architecture, design, code, and security reviews
• Identify security risks and recommend remediation strategies
• Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Troubleshoot complex production issues involving performance, security, stability, and scalability
• Evaluate new technologies and lead technical POCs
• Collaborate with engineering, product, security, and business stakeholders
