Job Description

Role Overview:

The MuleSoft Architect will design, develop, and implement integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable and efficient integration solutions while collaborating with stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional teams.

The architect will provide technical guidance, oversee API development, ensure adherence to integration best practices, and support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable integration architectures.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify integration requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversee API design, development, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues.
  • Provide production support for MuleSoft integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to integration architecture, security, and development best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and MuleSoft capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in MuleSoft architecture and development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience with MuleSoft application development and deployment.
  • Strong experience in API design, development, and deployment.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of API-led connectivity.
  • Experience developing and implementing error-handling strategies.
  • Expertise in DataWeave coding.
  • Strong knowledge of RAML and API design.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and database connectors.
  • Experience with event-driven and batch processing.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including OAuth, API policies, API Manager, and AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based integrations, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Docker.
  • Experience with data transformation and mapping using JSON, XML, and related formats.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architect certification is a plus.
