ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the team driving continuous innovation for the revolutionary Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser fleet! In this role, you will help test and deliver a completely new embedded system powering next-generation dispensers, operating at the intersection of cloud, web, IoT, and embedded hardware technologies.

responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop test plans, test cases, and execute manual and automated functional and performance tests on physical dispensers and prototypes.
• Analyze system, application, and event logs using Unix command-line utilities to debug hardware/software defects.
• Validate API and backend protocol communication between Linux-based embedded operating systems and hardware components.
• Partner closely with development resources, management, and product owners to track defects, mitigate risk, and report quality metrics.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience testing embedded systems or IoT hardware platforms (e.g., HVAC, set-top boxes, switches/routers, industrial controls, or robotics).

Strong practical experience in log analysis using Unix shell command-line tools.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, QA methodologies, and defect triage.

Knowledge of Linux OS, web services, and API testing for backend-to-hardware communication.

Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, analytical mindset for quality processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline.

Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, Java, JavaScript, Groovy).

Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
