Job Description

This project aims to develop an automated mechanism for districts to track returned and unreturned Periodic Reports (PR), ensuring that required actions are taken within federally mandated timeframes. Additionally, the project will enable the Welfare Management System (WMS) to automatically close cases when clients fail to return their Periodic Reports.

The selected candidate will assist in developing and implementing these enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and provide regular status updates to the Project Manager.
• Utilize Azure DevOps tools for task tracking and project management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Assist in developing and implementing application enhancements.
• Perform unit testing, regression testing, and UAT activities.
• Assist with code deployments and release activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• 12+ years of overall professional experience.
• Involvement in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including research, design, programming, testing, and implementation of computer software.

Required Skills & Experience

• 84 months of experience building complex, enterprise-level Java web applications, including all phases of the SDLC (requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation).
• 84 months of experience working with development teams to define unit and system testing standards, monitoring, benchmarking, and evaluating results.
• 84 months of experience performing release management for n-tier JEE web applications.
• 84 months of experience demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills and delivering group presentations.
• 84+ months of experience analyzing business processes and workflows, working with non-technical staff to develop system specifications and resolve issues.
• 72+ months of experience advising IT management on web application architecture, software evaluation, application component upgrades, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and mentoring developers in system architecture, design patterns, common system utilities, and secure web application coding.
• 84 months of experience in EJB development and transaction management programming in complex, large-scale environments involving approximately 1.2 million records and integration of J2EE applications with legacy mainframe environments.
• 84 months of experience working with or developing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for JEE applications, preferably using LDAP and SiteMinder.
• 84 months of experience with web services and IBM MQ in a JEE environment.
• 84 months of experience with XML, JAXB, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, rules engines, and Business Process Management (BPM).
