Electrical Assemby

Yuba City Manufacturing company is seeking Electrical Technicians for their Assembly line.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, adjust and repair heavy vehicle 12V electrical components.
• Assemble and service wiring harnesses, make wiring harnesses as needed.
• Identify parts and read engineering drawings of major and minor components and assemblies.
• General component assembly, including mechanical or chemical fasteners (bolts, glue, etc)
• Install air-conditioning systems and assemble related components
• Industrial application and modification of foam cabin interior
• Assembly and installation of various connectors, pins, etc as needed
• Follow all OSHA guidelines for safety (including responsible handling of hazardous waste).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiarity with and ability to use various hand tools such as ohmmeters, pliers, screwdrivers, cordless drills, and wrenches.
• Ability to work in a small team as well as independently produce results.
• Ability to understand and articulate electrical operations and practices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and hand drawings.
• Independently assess parts discrepancies and seek resolutions.
• Ability to function within the chain of command.
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs unassisted.
• Ability to read prints, drawings, and job instructions as well as use tape measures, angle gauges,
• squares, and other small tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals.
• Willingness to learn new concepts and contribute meaningfully to the team.
