Job Description

EBS Apps Database Administrator

EBS Patch Analysis: Research and document information. Co-pilot to patching EBS. Interact with TCEQ DBAs to validate Quarterly patches done by ATOS. Support and provide consultation for EBS 12.2.x upgrade. Provide support and assistance in managing Oracle SRs required for EBS. Troubleshooting basis2 issues as it relates to EBS infrastructure. Configure basis2 to run in the TCEQ approved browser. Currently runs in unsupported IE. Assist and support the database upgrade to Oracle 19c. Current basis2 implementation runs in an outdated JAVA architecture and JRE. Consult and advise on upgrading. Assess the current application environment, provide documentation and serve as the technical lead in patch / upgrade efforts. Miscellaneous duties: Assisting teams as needed

15RequiredExperience with Linux, JAVA, Oracle, Oracle Reports, PhP, Perl, PL/SQL. Cold Fusion, and full stack web development.
10RequiredAdvanced EBS Apps DBA with 5+ years’ experience, good communication and collaboration skills
10RequiredTechnical writing skills
10RequiredAbility to analyze technical situations or infrastructure and be able to document
10RequiredExperience in advising, directing and guiding DBAs, App Admins, Data Center Resources (DCS)
10RequiredExperience opening Oracle SRs and expediting SRs as needed
10RequiredExperience with RAC and Exadata
