A globally recognized technology leader is looking for a Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team working on a critical national airspace modernization program. This employer is known for its innovative solutions and commitment to tackling complex challenges for government and commercial clients.

The Role

• Provide technical leadership and guidance for Systems Engineering work products on the UK's National Air Traffic Services (NATS) NAS Replacement (NAS-R) program.
• Improve the efficiency and performance of the UK National Airspace System by modernizing air traffic control equipment and flight data exchange.
• Serve as a primary technical interface for internal and external customers, leading requirements reviews and working group meetings.
• Develop A-Level System/Subsystem Specifications (SSS), B-Level Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and engage in Systems Engineering Modeling and Design.
• Design user interfaces and databases, articulating user needs from high-level user stories and providing support across software development, integration, and testing.
• Identify and coordinate plans to resolve project risks, opportunities, and dependencies.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven Systems Engineering experience, including gathering user requirements and translating them into system requirements for complex projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience working directly with customers and interfacing with other functional areas (e.g., Software, Hardware).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
