Job Description

KPM, a leading full-service multifamily management company based in Houston, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Assistance Property Manager to support the efficient operation of our apartment communities. With more than 16,000 units under management across multiple states, KPM is known for its commitment to excellence, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Assistance Property Manager will play a key role in assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and staff coordination to ensure high-quality property management standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Property Manager in daily property operations and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with tenant relations by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring resident satisfaction.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Help manage leasing activities by conducting tours, processing applications, and executing lease agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records related to leases, tenant files, and financial transactions.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenses to support financial goals.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to onsite staff as needed.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in property management or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
