Lead AI Engineer Chicago, IL

• 12+ years of software/backend engineering experience with strong Python skills and hands-on experience building AI/Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong experience with RAG and Knowledge Graph solutions, including Azure AI Search and Neo4j.
• Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain Agents, or equivalent agent frameworks, including multi-step and stateful workflows.
• Design and implement AI agent logic for reasoning, tool selection/invocation, structured responses, external API integrations, and REST-based services.
• Experience integrating agents with orchestration and MCP layers, with strong focus on retries, failure handling, evaluation, tuning, and safe/reviewable agent behavior.
• Experience with assistive/non-autonomous AI agents and enterprise automation platforms is a plus.
