The Role • Provide daily care and support to young people, focusing on their social, emotional, and mental well-being. • Build strong, trusting relationships with the young people, acting as a consistent and supportive figure. • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the children's home, maintaining high standards. • Support the staff team and deputise for Team Leaders when required, demonstrating leadership potential. • Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes positive development. • Celebrate the small victories and positive changes in the lives of the young people. What You'll Need • A compassionate, emotionally resilient, and supportive attitude. • The ability to relate to and build rapport with young people facing complex challenges. • A proactive, team-player mentality with a "can-do" attitude. • Honesty and empathy are essential qualities for this role. • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months. • Willingness to work towards or hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), with full support provided.
