Senior Children's Residential Support Worker | Hartlepool, England | Hybrid | £34,151 - £38,560
This employer is a leading specialist provider of education and care for children and young people with special educational needs. The Role
• Provide day-to-day care and support to young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Build positive and lasting relationships with the young people.
• Support the staff team and ensure the home operates to high standards.
• Deputise for Team Leaders when required.
• Help create a stable and nurturing environment for the children.
• Celebrate small victories and acknowledge positive changes in residents.
What You'll Need
• A compassionate, honest, and empathetic attitude.
• Emotional resilience to manage challenging situations.
• A 'can do' attitude and strong team-working skills.
• A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• A Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 3 or equivalent) is preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
