Job Description

SAP IS-OIL PRA SME
Houston, TX
1- 2 years contract
Experienced SAP PRA (Production and Revenue Accounting) Functional Consultant with strong domain expertise in the Oil & Gas industry and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end SAP PRA implementation projects. Skilled in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, data validation, cutover activities, and post go-live support.
Extensive experience in providing production support, enhancements, and incident resolution for SAP PRA environments while ensuring business continuity and system optimization. Strong functional knowledge of Revenue Accounting, Production Accounting, Ownership Management, Contracts & Pricing, Prior Period Adjustments (PPA), volumetric and financial reconciliation processes.
Demonstrated expertise in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business process validation, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Hands-on experience with SAP PRA integrations across SAP FI/CO, Joint Venture Accounting (JVA), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support SAP PRA implementation, enhancement, and production support initiatives.
  • Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications for SAP RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
  • Collaborate with business users, cross-functional teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver effective SAP PRA solutions.
  • Drive business process improvements across Production, Ownership, Contracts & Pricing, and Revenue Accounting processes.
  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, business process reviews, and sprint planning meetings.
  • Maintain functional documentation, process flows, and solution design documents.
  • Execute and support SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing activities.
  • Create, execute, and manage test cases, test scenarios, and defect resolution activities.
  • Validate end-to-end SAP PRA business processes, integrations, and data quality.
  • Support cutover planning, mock cutovers, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and functional support to business users.
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, risk mitigation, and rollback planning activities.
  • Coordinate with development teams to deliver and validate RICEFW developments and enhancements.
