DC Technology Lead

TPT Retirement Solutions are looking for a DC Technology Lead to join our Platform Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical delivery of change across our Defined Contribution (DC) platform estate, helping to deliver secure, scalable and innovative solutions that support our customers and colleagues.

Working with Product, Technology, Delivery and supplier teams, you'll play a key role in driving platform enhancements, integrations and strategic technology initiatives from design through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the technical delivery of platform enhancements, upgrades and digital initiatives.
• Translating business and product requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Providing assurance on technical designs, integrations and implementation approaches.
• Managing technical risks, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Driving improvements in technical delivery, automation and engineering standards.
• Management of TPT s ongoing contract and relationship with the vendors whose software products make up the DC platform. This includes vendors whose relationship with TPT is direct, via a third party, and with a third party between the vendor and TPT.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in a senior technical delivery, technical lead, platform delivery or systems implementation role.
• Experience leading technology change across analysis, solution design, build, testing and deployment.
• Experience working with third-party suppliers, software vendors and delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of systems integration, APIs, release management and implementation risk.
• Strong planning, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within pensions or another regulated financial services environment is desirable.
• Experience with GBST Composer and/or ticketing systems (e.g ManageEngine or Service Now)
• Experience in reading and interpreting IT contracts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• ITIL, Agile or project delivery qualifications.
