Contract GCP Architect

Location: Fully Remote - UK Based
Rate: Up to £675 per day
IR35: Inside IR35
Duration: 5 weeks initially

We're looking for an experienced GCP Architect to join an exciting project on an initial 5-week contract.

This is a hands-on architecture role for someone who can operate confidently across Google Cloud Platform, making sound architectural decisions and helping shape the technical direction of the project.

The Role

You'll be responsible for providing technical architecture expertise across a GCP environment, working closely with technical and delivery teams to design robust, scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Cloud/GCP Architect

• Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure and application design

• Experience designing scalable, resilient and secure cloud solutions

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and IAM

• Experience with GCP services and cloud-native architectures

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced delivery environment

Desirable

• Central Government experience

• Experience working on large-scale or complex transformation programmes

• Experience within highly regulated environments

Contract Details

• Up to £675 per day

• Inside IR35

• Fully remote - UK based

• 5 weeks initially

• Immediate/short-notice availability would be advantageous
