Quality Assurance Tester

Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to support the delivery of reliable, user-friendly web applications in The Woodlands, Texas. This role combines hands-on manual testing with automated test execution to identify defects, improve product quality, and strengthen the overall user experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple test scenarios, documenting findings clearly, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Design and carry out manual test cases to validate application functionality, usability, and performance across web environments. Build, maintain, and execute automated browser-based test scripts using Selenium to improve test coverage and consistency. Record, track, and communicate defects with clear reproduction steps, expected outcomes, and actual results for timely resolution. Partner with developers, product stakeholders, and support teams to clarify requirements and confirm that delivered features meet quality standards.

Use Zendesk and related tools to review reported issues, verify defects, and help prioritize testing efforts based on customer impact. Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing during release cycles to confirm system stability after updates or fixes. Maintain organized test documentation, including test plans, execution results, and defect summaries for ongoing quality reporting. Requirements
Demonstrated experience in quality assurance testing for web-based applications. Proficiency in Selenium for browser automation and repeatable test execution.

Strong background in manual testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing. Familiarity with Zendesk for reviewing, documenting, or validating user-reported issues. Ability to identify defects thoroughly and communicate findings in a clear, structured manner. Solid understanding of QA processes, test case development, and issue tracking best practices. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple testing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
