Electrical Engineers (ONLY W2)

Duties/Day to Day Overview

• Design and engineering in Revit - no AutoCAD
• Multitasking through multiple projects
• Will be working under one of our full-time engineers
• Help with RFIs, modeling, cable trays, circuiting loads, panel schedules
• Reaching out for info is key if missing something.
• We will provide projects and expecting to reach out to other parties/disciplines if they require more info.

Top Requirements

(Must haves)

• Revit - MUST HAVE
• Power Studies experience and SKM software is preferred
• Low/medium voltage exp
• Proficient in breaker coordination studies, short circuit studies, and arc flash in SKM.
• We will provide designs and they will update or create new models for those studies.
• BIM, Modeling, Fabrication, Conduits, Raceway Conduits, Supports, Unistrut (supports built out of Unistrut), Shop Drawings, Clash Free, Coordination, LOD
• Background: any commercial or industrial exp is fine. Hospitals, warehouse, airports, etc. As long as they've done the job and can speak/describe/explain.
• BA is required.
• Proficient with NEC Codes
• MEP background and knowledge for commercial/industrial site.
• Must be able to develop accurate 3D electrical Models in Revit
• Design in 3D to avoid any clashes
• Calculate the size and routing of conduits based on the electrical load and requirements.
• Understand line electrical diagrams.
• Collaborate with Engineers. Engineers will send the design drawing sand ask to design cable trays.
• Redline markups.
