We're looking for an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join our growing team. This field-based role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse customer portfolio while supporting critical building control systems and developing your career with a global leader in smart building technology.
The Role
As a BMS Service Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical expert for our customers, delivering service excellence and ensuring systems operate at peak performance. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you'll support service delivery, system optimisation and future upgrade opportunities.
This is a mobile role, predominantly around Glasgow.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on BMS and control systems
Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently
Configuring and commissioning controllers and network-level devices
Modifying software and maintaining accurate system documentation
Producing service reports and recommendations
Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
Supporting upgrade and lifecycle projects
Promoting OpenBlue and cloud-connected building technologies
Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance
What We're Looking For
min 3 years' experience within BMS, Building Controls or Automation
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience in a customer-facing service environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and participate in an out-of-hours callout rota
HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
Experience with Johnson Controls Metasys systems (advantageous)
