Senior Procurement Operations & Sourcing

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Procurement Operations & Sourcing in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, including competitive bidding, supplier analysis, and market research
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies that support business goals, cost savings, and long-term supplier relationships
• Identify and deliver cost reduction, value creation, and spend optimization opportunities
• Develop category strategies and initiatives that improve procurement performance and operational efficiency
• Evaluate market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging procurement practices to identify new opportunities
• Build productive relationships with vendors, business leaders, and key stakeholders
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, Purchasing, and other teams throughout the sourcing and contracting lifecycle
• Support supplier negotiations, contract management, third-party oversight, and spend management activities
• Recommend and implement process improvements that strengthen procurement and vendor management practices
• Manage sourcing projects within established timelines and budgets while monitoring risks and deliverables
• Provide stakeholders and leadership with clear updates on sourcing activities, potential risks, and expected outcomes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, supply chain, or a related discipline
• Proven experience managing competitive sourcing and supplier negotiation activities
• Experience conducting supplier, market, spend, and benchmarking analyses
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business stakeholders
• Strong understanding of category management, procurement, contracting, and third-party management processes
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage risks, priorities, budgets, and deadlines
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to identify savings opportunities and deliver measurable value through sourcing initiatives
• Ability to work independently, quickly learn new business areas, and drive initiatives through completion

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
