Java - FIX Developer

Looking for a Java - FIX Developer with strong hands-on experience in Core Java and FIX Protocol. Candidates must have experience developing and supporting FIX-based trading applications in a financial services or capital markets environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
• Hands-on FIX Protocol experience 
• FIX connectivity / FIX engines 
• Strong experience with multithreading and concurrency
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with Git or equivalent source control
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience supporting production applications
• Experience developing high-performance and scalable applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Java-based trading applications.
• Develop and maintain FIX connectivity and FIX-based integrations.
• Build high-performance, multithreaded applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
