Job description

Senior Citrix Technician Citrix CVAD & NetScaler Take a hands-on role supporting and enhancing enterprise Citrix infrastructure within a large government ICT environment. Work across Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), NetScaler, Windows 11 and Windows Server to maintain platform performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver reliable application services supporting essential public services.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 months, ASAP commencement
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1
Closing Date: Tuesday, 10 November 2026

Essential Tasks
  • Manage and support Citrix CVAD and NetScaler infrastructure across development, test and production environments.
  • Monitor and maintain Citrix platform performance, including load balancing, application publishing, patching and infrastructure health.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across Citrix, Windows desktop and server environments, providing expert-level user support.
  • Maintain technical documentation, support platform improvements and contribute to ICT projects and service delivery objectives.
Key Criteria
  • Extensive experience administering, maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise Citrix CVAD and NetScaler environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Citrix infrastructure monitoring, load balancing, application publishing and platform maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022/2025, including advanced troubleshooting and break-fix support.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues and engage effectively with stakeholders.
Additional Requirement

May require participation in an after-hours on-call roster.
