We are partnering with a highly innovative engineering technology business operating at the heart of the UK's transition to net zero. This company specialises in solving the complex engineering challenges that happen when large-scale renewable generation and energy storage systems need to connect to the National Grid.

Rather than just building standard panels, they design bespoke automation, control, and monitoring solutions that ensure solar, wind, and battery assets operate safely and optimally.

The Role Due to a rapidly expanding pipeline of renewable projects across the UK, the technical team is looking for a Junior Control System Engineer. Working closely with senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across the entire project lifecyclefrom initial electrical design and panel layout through to PLC programming, testing, and final site commissioning.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of commercial experience within a control systems, automation, or electrical engineering environment.
• Electrical Engineering: Practical experience assisting with electrical designs and control panel schematics.
• Software Engineering: Demonstrable experience writing, modifying, or fault-finding PLC code (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Wago, or similar).
• Qualifications: Degree, HND, or HNC in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Able to drive and a willingness to work on site as required
