Electrical Shift Engineer

Location: Monument, City of London
Salary: £50,000
Shift: Continental Days & Nights
Position: Permanent, Static Site

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join an established engineering team at a prestigious banking environment near Monument.

Working a continental days and nights shift pattern, you'll be responsible for maintaining the building's electrical and critical infrastructure, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and responding to faults across the site.

• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance

• Fault-find on electrical plant and building services

• Maintain lighting, power, emergency lighting and distribution systems

• Monitor critical plant and infrastructure

• Respond to BMS alarms, breakdowns and technical issues

• Carry out routine plant room inspections

• Support mechanical and HVAC maintenance where required

• Oversee specialist contractors

• Complete maintenance records and CAFM tasks

• Ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent

• 18th Edition

• Strong commercial building maintenance experience

• Good electrical fault-finding skills

• Experience within banking, critical environments or high-profile commercial buildings would be advantageous

• Good understanding of M&E building services

• Previous shift experience preferred

• Professional and confident in a client-facing environment

• £50,000 salary
