HR Manager | Pierrepont Manor, NY, United States | On-site This employer is a leading food service distributor with a significant presence across the country, known for its commitment to operational excellence and employee development. They are seeking an experienced HR professional to join their dynamic team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. The Role • Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring employee well-being through leadership accountability and engagement. • Drive a positive employee experience and high engagement by identifying and addressing potential risks. • Advise management on policy interpretation and facilitate HR-related training sessions. • Execute communication and change campaigns, supporting strategic HR and business priorities. • Lead and support employee relations investigations and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. • Provide comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and leave administration. What You'll Need • Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a professional, non-administrative capacity. • Proven ability to consult with and advise management teams. • Strong foundation in core HR fundamentals and a solid understanding of employment legislation (ADA, FMLA, EEOC, FLSA, Title VII). • Working knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems, with effective communication and presentation skills. • Prior experience in employee relations and familiarity with affirmative action requirements is preferred. • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; SHRM certification is desirable.
