We are seeking an experienced HR leader to support our warehouse operations in Marion, South Carolina. Are you ready to be part of something amazing?
Role Overview
The HR Manager serves as the primary on-site HR partner for our Marion warehouse, supporting employees and warehouse leadership while working closely with our corporate HR team in Charleston. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned HR professional who can independently navigate complex employee relations and compliance matters while bringing sound judgment, composure, and a highly collaborative approach to the team.
Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
Serve as the primary HR partner for warehouse leaders and employees across employee relations, performance, attendance, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
Independently manage complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations, including documentation and corrective action.
Coach managers on people leadership, accountability, performance management, and consistent application of company policies.
Maintain a calm, objective, and practical approach to difficult conversations and high-pressure situations.
Compliance & HR Operations
Manage FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other employee leave and compliance processes.
Identify potential employment or compliance risks and partner with HR leadership and Legal when appropriate.
Oversee core HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, policy administration, and employee support.
Partner with leadership on staffing, retention, training, engagement, and workplace culture.
Promote consistent HR practices and strong collaboration between warehouse leadership, employees, and corporate HR.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including independently managing complex employee relations matters.
Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, or another blue-collar operational environment strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, employment law, and related compliance requirements; OSHA familiarity preferred.
Experience with investigations, performance management, corrective action, and manager coaching.
Sound judgment and composure with the ability to confidently handle difficult or sensitive situations.
Collaborative, approachable, and comfortable operating independently while partnering closely with leadership.
