Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Healthcare Business Analyst to support healthcare initiatives by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and assisting with data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure solutions align with healthcare regulations and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from healthcare stakeholders.
Assist in process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap analysis for healthcare operations.
Support data analysis, reporting, and validation activities using healthcare datasets.
Collaborate with IT teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate solutions meet requirements.
Maintain documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
Support compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and other industry standards.
Attend stakeholder meetings and provide status updates as required.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Basic understanding of healthcare workflows, claims, providers, or payer systems.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Ability to work in a hybrid model in Philadelphia, PA.
Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT, HL7).
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems.
Nice to Have

Healthcare domain certifications or BA certifications.
Experience supporting healthcare payer or provider organizations.
