Investment Banking Business Analyst Functional SME

HYBRID MODEL - (3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Role Overview

• Act as the functional SME for asset classes (FX, Rates, Equities, Commodities).
• Translate trading desk workflows into technical requirements.
• Manage front-to-back system enhancements and live trading features.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements & Workflow Analysis: Map out trade capture, pricing models, and position management.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Partner daily with traders, quants, developers, and risk managers.
• Testing & Deployment: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate functional releases.
• Production Support: Troubleshoot real-time pricing breaks, connectivity failures, or booking discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial products and the front-to-back trade lifecycle.
• Technical Stack: Strong SQL, Excel, and scripting/programming proficiency (Python or similar).
• Methodology: Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery in fast-paced trading environments.
• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence and clear communication under pressure on the trading floor.
