App Developer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an App Developer to support an intelligence program. This position is fully on site in Herndon, VA. This is a long-term opportunity on a newly awarded federal contract. Responsibilities of the App Developer

• Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correct program errors, compiling documentation of program development, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Ensure software standards are defined and met. Required Qualifications of the App Developer
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
• Java development experience
• Ability to work with XML
• Proven experience in COTS/FOSS integration and support
• Ability to troubleshoot and navigate multiple operating system environments including LINUX/Windows
• Bachelor's degree Compensation for the App Developer
• Salary Range: $130,000-$195,000 depending on experience
